Priyadarshan’s
much-awaited high octane action-packed thriller ‘Tezz’ hits the screens
with much oomph and gusto. First thing first that Priyadarshan has
taken the inspiration from the Hollywood superhit flick ‘Speed’. Well,
Tezz is definitely different and cannot be termed the utter replica of
Speed but the inspiration is there. Getting inspired from something is
not band at all rather it’s a healthy sign if you dish out your product
differently and by injecting your creativity with gripping content to
entertain your audience. And Priyadarshan has done so with super
conviction.
Action
movies keep on being churned out on Bollywood platform and only few hit
the hearts and Tezz is without any single doubt among them. It is
Priyadarshan’s best work so far of his filmmaking career.
The
movie has been in controversies due to the clash between the producer
Ratan Jain (Venus) and Priyadarshan due to the item song ‘Laila’
pictursied on Mallika Sherawat. The song was churned out with the orders
of the producer who wanted to inject this song into the film and
obviously he wanted Mallika in this item number whereas Priyadarshan did
not want this song in film since he did not find fit into the
narrative. Sources reveal that the fact behind this clash is that
Priyadarshan wanted to picturize the song on his favorite Sameera Reddy.
To cut it short, finally the producer won the battle and the item song
got its place in the initial reels of the film.
